    The Problem
    For Gen-Z and Millenials, dating apps are the primary way to meet new potential partners and go on dates. A problem with meeting people through apps is that it feels forced or awkward, with no real opportunity to show your true self to others.

    Strategy
    Get daters to have meet cutes at their local bodega— offering them a natural way of interacting with fellow daters.

    Execution
    Introducing: Hinge Cereal
    Creating Hinge cereal with flavors based on date ideas, and a new section on the Hinge app that gives daters the opportunity to have an organic run in at their local bodega with their next potential love.

    Daters scan the QR code inside their Hinge Cereal boxes to unlock the Hinge Bodega, a section of the app that allows “run-ins” with other daters on the app who purchased the same flavor of Hinge Cereal.

    Pop-Ups: Hinge Bodega
    At major cities nationwide, Hinge will takeover a local bodega and feature exclusive Hinge Cereal based on a location specific date popular to locals. When users match by buying the city exclusive cereal, Hinge will take them on a date inpsired by the local culture and uniquness of each city.

    Social Execution
    Hinge Cereal Date Challenge: Get single influencers to buy their choice of Hinge Cereal, and go on the date on the box. Get them to record their experiences with the app and the cereal date.
